Yes, my friends, it appears as though my list of anime obssessions has been growing lately. Latest on the list is none other than the amazing Ouran High School Host Club.

Now when told me I should watch it, I was a little skeptical. Okay, A LOT. Being a Christian, the thought of having to watch an anime about a girl pretending to be a boy to flirt girls was more than uncomfortable. However, after watching just the first episode, I fell in love with it. I love how it manages to parody Japanese love anime, all the while being one itself. I found myself snorting with laughter, and I actually smacked the desk while LOLing at one point. Not to mention I fell in total love with all of the characters. They all have unique backgrounds and quirks about them, that you can't HELP but adore them.

Though my anime-thon wasn't NEARLY as bad as Bleach, I really have to say that I love this show just as much. The entire thing was just sweet, and I found myself tearing up at times. I actually watched the opening and clsing theme songs, usually all the way through, which I don't usually do in shows. And the end of the show had me squeeing. PLUS, I heard they're making a second season eventually which makes me a VERY happy camper, indeed. I might consider reading the manga version and reading ahead, because I'm impatient.

Welp, now that my distraction from being impatient over Bleach is through, it's about time to find another one to watch. I'm considering the original Full Metal Alchemist, as I've heard nothing but excellence from everyone who watches it. I started watching the second anime, but it hasn't totally enraptured me like I thought I would. I think I'll try the first anime again. 8)

We only have one TV in the house right now that goes past channel 30, and I don't watch anything under 30, and I like to watch my shows in private, so Youtube is currently my best friend.
